Scranton Ready for New Challenges at Joliet

Joliet, Ill - When Matt Scranton and his Scranton Brothers Racing / TIAL Sport Pro Stock team roll into Route 66 Raceway he and his team will be starting with a clean slate. After a terrific start at the Gatornationals earlier this year, SBR has experienced the expected learning curve of NHRA Pro Stock racing.

"We have had out ups and downs but we knew it was coming" explained Matt Scranton "The conditions were great at Gainesville and we had the right tune up for what we had to work with. Since then we have been to other events where the conditions have varied and we are having to learn to adjust our tune up accordingly"

Even though the team is still working to make their second field of the year they remain tremendously upbeat.

"We are so happy to simply be running Pro Stock. Our entire team is learning something new with every pass down the race track."

Weather conditions for the event are expected to be in the mid to high 70’s for the weekend which should work in the favor of SBR. Keep an eye on this team as they work hard to make the show in Joliet.
