Scranton Hopes Mid-Week Testing Will Make the Difference in Bristol Bristol, TN - The 2007 racing season has held its challenges for Matt Scranton and his race team. The Land ‘O Lakes, FL based team made the leap from Sport Compact racing to NHRA Pro Stock and has found there to be many challenges. But with solid determination in its blood this team is sure to turn the performance corner. The Tial Sport sponsored GTO has spent the early part of this week making run after run at Mooresville Dragway under the supervision of none other than Jeff Perley who was a large contributor to Greg Anderson’s success before leaving the team to pursue other opportunities. "Our biggest challenge this season has been dealing with a variety of track conditions" explained Matt Scranton. "Our time with Jeff has made a big difference for us and I feel that difference will be evident this weekend in Bristol." The team learned a lot by running the car on an all day basis. "We saw a variety of conditions from early morning to afternoon and evening conditions as well." The team also had what Scranton described as a lot of "what it’s" answered in their time with Perley as well. "Jeff told us we should easily be qualifying 8th or 9th with the horsepower we have." Keep a close eye on this team during the course of the weekend. They are sure to turn a lot of heads as they continue their pursuit of Pro Stock success.
